Vectran Breaker

Vectran is spun from liquid crystal-polymer. This way a thermoplastic, multiple-thread yarn is created. As a comparison: This partially crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramid and its tensile strength is five times higher than that of steel. A Vectran breaker is lighter, more flexible and effective against cuts than a comparable nylon breaker. Without effecting rolling resistance.

As a result, you’ll notice increased stability, lower rolling resistance and fewer chances of flats or punctures.

Please note: For initial mounting Continental recommend using at least 30 ml of Conti RevoSealant per tyre (available separately). Then spin the tyre (wheel) to spread the Conti RevoSealant inside of the tyre and pump to the allowed maximum pressure. Check the pressure before the next ride and adjust to your desired PSI.
